GREENVILLE CHORALE

Pitch Week served as a culminating experience where I practiced pitching my work to a panel of regional professional designers. I was assigned at random a particular Arts organization located within the Upstate of South Carolina that fell into one of four categories: Dance, Theatre, Music, or Visual Arts. The final solution was built in a pitch deck and presented to a panel of judges. Based on the judges’ and my peers’ evaluation, my brand identity was awarded the Silver Judge’s Award and the Peer Medalist for Identity Design.

Originating in 1961, the Greenville Chorale is Upstate South Carolina’s premier symphonic chorus. The multi-talented group of over 150 trained vocalists performs choral masterworks and brings the power of live performance art to the Greenville community. The visual system for the Greenville Chorale was explored and strategized to best compose its brand identity, an extensive list of touchpoints, a brand guideline, and a case study book.

Silver Judge’s Award & Peer Medalist for Brand Identity

Evaluations by the panelists covered four items: the overall pitch presentation, design of the slide deck, design of the visual identity system, and the concept of the visual identity system. I was recognized with the Silver Judge’s Award for Brand Identity and Peer Review Metalist for Identity Design for my work.
